Thank You STUART SCOTT. Sports was the biggest thing in my life growing up. If I wasn’t playing them, I was watching them, and if couldn’t watch them you know I was watching ESPN every night to see what I missed, the watching and seeing what I missed hasn’t changed. What I remember about the Stuart Scott is that one day he was just there, and all the sudden there was this guy on the air who spoke to me, whom I immediately identified with, who crossed cultural boundaries, who brought a flair to sports broadcasting, and who I looked forward to seeing on the Air. There are certain personalities on air that you just connect to, without ever have meeting them you feel like they are your friend. It feels like I lost a friend, for 15 years I’ve been watching Stuart Scott say Boo Yea! Infusing his own style into the world of sports broadcasting and bringing a smile to my face. He will be missed but man am I thankful I got to see a person who was different, who was himself, and who did it with class and grace every night on one of the biggest platforms in the world. My take away/lesson from Stuart Scott? The world will do everything to try to change you, tell you the person you should be. Instead be the person you are, go out into the world and change it. Man…He most definitely changed the world of sports and more. BOO YEA!
