I am so excited to do this post!  Mansions on the Moon are my friends but also I am such a big fan of these guys.  After much anticipation they recently released their current EP entitled Light Years. The Pharrell William’s  executive produced five song EP is a great representation of thier versatility and uncategorized style. My talented friends Mansions On The Moon released their second single off their Light Years EP entitled “Leaves Fall” recently.  The EP is executive produced by Pharrell and has been in high anticipation since their lastParadise Falls mix tape with DJ Benzi and Diplo.  Throughout the next few weeks they will be releasing free tracks that you can download before they officially go online for sale.  To be in the know follow Mansions On The Moon on Twitter.  Congrats fellas, loving the music and can’t wait to here the other tracks!  To listen and download “Leaves Fall” click here.

Here is episode 2 of Pac Div: The Series, shot and produced by my talented friend Brandon Cruz.  In this episode, PAC DIV performs in Atlanta with N.E.R.D. Watch as Pac Div rocks the stage and tells an inspiring story of how they met and worked with one of the most influential producers in the world, Pharrell Williams.

One of my closest friends in the world and someone I always enjoy working with Brandon Cruz was recently on Tour with N.E.R.D. and Pac Div documenting the entire tour.  Brandon will be releasing his new website and new documentary music web series in the coming weeks and I can not wait to see it.

“Todd Selby is a portrait, interiors, and fashion photographer and illustrator. His project The Selby offers an insider’s view of creative individuals in their personal spaces with an artist’s eye for detail.”(Toddselby.com)  In this recent edition he caught up with Pharrell Williams, take a look as Todd goes Pharrell’s Miami home and see his aesthetic influences including art from Kaws and Takashi Murakami as well as his own custom designs.  Pharrell is definitely a renaissance man with great taste, but as you can you probably see within these pictures is that you can grow up but not lose the kid inside of you.  Always stay young in heart and continue to always be curious.

Paradise Falls, presented by Diplo and DJ Benzi illustrates the wide range of Mansions on the Moon’s musical capabilities. The band is currently in Los Angeles recording their debut album with tour dates to be announced in the early part of 2011.   Ever since I have been put on to them, I have been anticipating this mixtape!  In meeting the fellas from MOTM I know that they’re success is going to be MAJOR!    Great job to the entire mansions team and to my man Shomi Patwari of illusive media on the cover design. enjoy the music!  Listen and Download below
