National Geographic- 7 billion people
One of my favorite professors is an Italian man by the name of Lapo Salucci. A Very brilliant and a dynamic teacher, (also very well dressed, but you know how Italian men wear suits, next level) I took him for two of my political science classes at the University of Colorado at Boulder, one being Urban Politics and the other Comparative Urban Politics. In my Comparative Urban Politics we talked about population growth all the time. What is happening to cities? Where are people migrating? What will be the demands for mega cites when it comes to resources and governance? This brilliant video by National Geographic gives stunning information on what is and will happen as population grows with time, it explains the information in a very attention getting and visual way. My class with Lapo Salucci always had me curious and engaged into what was going on in the world, you may not be able to take a class with Lapo but this video will have you engaged and thinking about the world around you.
