My first NYC fashion week show: Naeem Khan
I’ve always been a follower and lover of fashion, you see fashion week on TV, on the internet, and you imagine what it would be like to see it in person. The runway, beautiful models, beautiful designs, the lights, the music, the people! Well, recently I finally got experience I’d always imagined of. This is my first fashion week living in NYC and I must it is a very inspiring time in the city. What I truly love about New York City is that the fashion is out, it’s visible, it’s in the streets, but to see it on the runway and have third row to see one of the most respected high fashion designers Naeem Khan was a dream come true. In attendance were designer Rachel Roy, actress Mischa Barton, and celebrity stylist June Ambrose amongst so many others, in every sense of the word it was an event. In seeing fashion at this level I have even more of admiration and respect for it, it truly is an art. I know this will not be my last runway show, now I want to see them in Milan and Paris. Who knows instead of sitting third row maybe some day I’ll get down to the first! I must thank my great friend Celia Levin for who works for Naeem Khan for the ticket and giving me one of my greatest New York moments thus far. Pictures and video of the show are below. Probably one of my favorite pieces in the show is the one highlighted. BEAUTIFUL!
Second favorite piece was the one in the top left the detail on it in person was amazing. The dress had elegance and class to it but was bold at the same time. BEAUTIFUL!
