Meet Karen Civil

While in L.A. this past week I had the pleasure of meeting Karen Civil .  Karen is the social media manager at headphone company Beats by Dre.  Karen is a very influential hip-hop blogger who has also worked on marketing campaigns for several acts on Lil Wayne’s Young Money label.  She showed me around the office, introduced me to great people, and told me a little about herself.  I came away being so impressed!  Karen found a way to leverage the Internet and social media, and leverage it in a way where people were paying attention.  Her ability to to draw a following has now led her to Beats by Dre where in her short time she has done a tremendous job in the digital marketing area.  Be sure to check out her site and follow her on twitter to stay in the know the Civil way.   I have to thank Karen for showing me around and introducing me to everyone in the beats office,  for me I am fortunate to do the work I do because I always get the opportunity to meet people like her.  So Karen thank you.
