Life: CU International Festival

April 21st, 2011 • 2 Comments »

This past weekend I went to the University of Colorado International Festival.  I linked up with two of my great friends Dalal and Is and shared in celebrating different cultures from around the world.  It was amazing to meet so many different people from various parts of the world, find out about them, taste the food, and just see that even when people are culturally different there are so many more commonalities than differences just as human beings.  Great job to the staff of the International Festival you all did such a tremendous job!  It was fun and engaging and it absolutely reaffirmed the fact that I need to travel.  Thanks to all my friends there that made it such a good time and thanks to all the new people I met.  I’ll say it again, experiences are best shared with others.

The two great friends I was with that evening, Iz and Dalal

So awesome to see so many people turn up for the event

This to me showed the true essence of the event.  A coming together of different people and cultures, and to celebrate each other.

India and Japan sections, the food from both were amazing

My friends Dalal, Amir, and Adel

One country I have to go to
