Interview: Lupe Fiasco
I first met Lupe through one of my closest friends and dope designer Anthony Coleman. He got me my first interview with Lupe when “Food and Liquor” was coming out and I was hosting at my first network. To sit down with Lupe Fiasco 3 years later and interview him after seeing where his career has gone and knowing where I have come in having experience as interviewer I was excited to do this. I have to thank Anthony Coleman again for producing this. This is only fitting that you get a description about the interview from my man Ant Coleman. Thanks to Greg Callan for editing.
“I’ll spare everyone the standard introduction as Lupe Fiasco’s career path has solidified his status in the elite of the new wave, young musical talent that has ushered in a new voice. While on his latest tour, Stepping Lasers, we were given the opportunity to catch up with Lupe who gave us a bit of insight on his life since his epic journey as part of the S.O.T.S. team with Kenna, as well as the a few of his upcoming projects. Its not often a artist takes the time to really provide such a telling account to their lives Lupe let a bit of himself show and provides an in depth look into his past and future as an artist.”
