I was introduced to the art of Specter by an amazing friend Rachel here in Colorado.   Specter is out of Brooklyn and coincidentally I ran into a piece he did in Williamsburg a few weeks ago, which you will see in the trailer of my fifth episode of Ant’s World. As someone who is passionate about the education of kids especially in low income and underrepresented areas this piece entitled Undereducated on his site  really impacted me.  When I see those books in front of that school, it to me represents the deteriorating situation that is education in this country.  I feel this is a powerful visual that speaks to a social situation that needs to be fixed because children that deserve the best are getting the worst.  Thank you Specter, I’m a fan.
