“Ant’s World” Episode 5 – Democracy Prep Charter School

In Episode 5 I visited an inspiring school in Harlem, New York called Democracy Prep Charter School. In spite of the problems with education in America it was amazing to see a school making a difference in the lives of children and on the forefront of education reform. This was a very special episode for me because in many ways, I am these children. All my thanks to Democracy Prep for allowing me to document all the inspiration that is your school.

Making strides my man
Anthony, thank you so much for bringing the Democracy Prep Charter School into light like this. Pretty much every school that I can think of can benefit from this school’s philosophies. It was a very inspiring episode and it actually might be my favorite one so far! …though it’s hard to say because all of them are so good, buddy.
Inspiring! Hopefully their success will bring more attention to this very important issue.

Had to come back and see this again, have not been touched like this in a while, black urban area children are given so little chances.
I am glad that I have a member of my family that is part of this POSTIVE EXPERIENCE.
My son is a student @ Democracy Prep and we love this school and everything about it! Democracy Prep deserves all the recognition in the world for all their wonderful work and dedication to these students who in return do AWESOME! Thanks guys this piece is great.
